Blog Design Almost Finished!

Whew, it’s been intense getting this thing going. I’ve probably forgotten half the stuff we’ve tweaked over the last week or so. A short list:

- Now have Google site search, the best, use small horizontal form above. This also searches some of our other websites.

- Whenever we post or edit, you’ll get an update via Twitter if you follow us, our Twitter name is “Wildsnow,” (without the quotes).

- Added shell pages for most recreational activities, gotta write articles for those now.

- Made sure the HOME links were obvious so users can get back to the start when they get lost in our soon to be MEGA content.

- Placed current weather report in left sidebar. This is for Crested Butte, just subtract a few degrees and you’re good for Schofield.

- Added spam protection to the comments, which are NOW TURNED ON. Go ahead and comment, but be aware that your comment may be placed in the moderation list so we can double check for spam. Sorry about that, but it’s the only way to stay 100% spam free. Yep, spammers can wreck a website faster than a wheel can drop over the edge of the Schofield Pass Punchbowl roadcut!

- Placed comments display in left sidebar.

We’re looking forward to adding content now. Stay tuned!

Due to comment spam we moderate all comments. Please do not submit your comment twice -- it will appear shortly after we approve it. Once you've had one comment published, your comments will be pre-approved and appear immediately if you're using the same computer and not blocking browser cookies. NOTE however that ALL comments with one or more links in the text will be held for moderation no matter what, again for spam prevention. This is a website for all ages and backgrounds, so we don't permit profanity or vulgarity. We welcome civil debate, but do not allow personal attacks on other contributors. Subtract a few degrees from the weather below, add a handful of clouds unless 100% clear, and that's your Schofield Pass weather!
